The Football Poets are offering educational workshops to schools, youth clubs and festivals. Targetted at boys and girl of 10-16 years old these workshops provide an opportunity to hear, write and perform football poetry. The workshop help at Stroud Fringe Festival on 8th Sept 2001 was a great success - a team of 11 children worked with Stuart Butler, Crispin Thomas and Ted Smith-Orr to write and perform their poems. They had a short intro from Stuart, some poetic inspiration and a little help from Ted and the opportunity to practice and then perform to a festival audience, organised by Crispin.
