Political correct poetry
What`s right and wrong in these political correct times
I`ve been visited by police for writing football rhymes
Bolton Wanderers had reported me over something that I`d said
Seems freedom of expression now is well and truly dead
I answered my front door it was early Friday morning
Police said they had a complaint and come to give a warning
Bolton had complained regarding comments about the boss
But all I did was write about the current football dross
I haven`t been a Coyle fan and I only express my views
Seems what I had been writing had become headline news
But it could have been averted without the need of Police
They could have got in touch with me I`d have gone to them in peace.
I reported to my solicitor and they said I`ve committed no crime
Just Bolton Wanderers Football Club are offended by my rhyme
They tried to place a gag on me but that won`t stop me writing
At least I know the club's alert and the office fish are biting.

Could not believe that a Rhyme could cause such a problem with a football club. I wrote a few rhymes which were critical of Owen Coyle`s management. In a time where Police are over worked , a visit by the old bill was not warranted.
