It's an addiction,
like a storm in your head,
it's something that is felt
not said

for those who've felt it too
there is nothing left to say
and it cannot be explained
to those who do not play.

It's a surge of electricity,
it's like fire and rain
it makes you feel invincible
and takes away all pain.

It is a rush of blood
playing this amazing game
and it leaves you yearning
for lots more of the same.

Once you've tasted football,
to play is to adore
you'll never want to give it up
and you'll be back for more.

for those who are a part

raised to a form of art.
