SAM ALLARDYCES LUCKY UNDERPANTS

      SAMS LUCKY UNDERPANTS

I tuned to the radio just by chance,
To hear of big Sams lucky underpants
Ive heard of lucky charms and handkerchiefs
But never a pair of lucky briefs

He says we pick up points when worn
And to change routine he would be torn
Were not quite sure if they are y fronts or boxers
Or something more daring or a little obnoxious.

Ive no doubt that luck does run out in the end
But one things for certain its has set a new trend
Managers looking for a new lucky charm
A pair of underpants will not do no harm.

Im sure that this trend will surely out fizzle
To remove them from sam well need hammer and chisel
And deploy them with Lofty instead of his shorts
But undies as mascots are surely last resorts.

I heard a tale from the local radio regarding Sam Allardyce and the lucky underpants, since he began to wear the underpants the Wanderers had picked up points from each game he wore them and vowed not to change them till the luck ran out.
