When Will They Realise?

When will these people realise that it's our country too?
A country for black and for white.
And why can't these people leave professional footballers alone?
In slavery times we were whipped, hung upside down and starved,
In America we were hunted down by the Klu Klux Klan,
Terrorised, houses burnt down.
And now, footballers like Andy Cole, lan Wright, Paul Ince,
Ruel Fox and Richard Shaw are very, very popular,
And yet they are sometimes booed by crowds in the stadium -
Yet the commentators never mention it!
Racism has been around for 100's of years -
But its time has passed!
